The food was good. I had beef with rice and fries. I thought the high price was not justified though. But, this a general issue in CR restaurants.

We were eager to try some Peruvian food, but this isn't a classic rotisserie chicken Peruvian place. They specialize in seafood and steaks.
We both ordered steak dishes, and I truly believe our food could have been delicious, but unfortunately the steak were served almost raw! I researched afterwards and discovered that many steaks are preferred raw over medium-well in Costa Rica, so of course it was our own fault. But it was almost scary to eat our food. Definitely not what we were used to.
But, the ambiance was great. Loved the open setting of the restaurant, and we even saw some beautiful butterflies during our meal! Staff was very friendly and even called us a cab after our meal to get back to our hotel.response / report this review -

Prices are excessive. No bread or anything to eat before the meal came. I ordered the lomito lo macho which is supposed to be in a spicy sauce. Black pepper is a pretty basic spice and that was the main flavor I detected. The meat was tough to chew. We were five people including a 10-year-old child and they waited until everybody else got their food to tell us they didn't have what we ordered for her. Definitely would not recommend nor would I return here.

The food here is amazing! Full of flavor and very delicious. The hospitality is great because it sets the entire vibe and atmosphere, making it a positive and welcoming one. Definitely recommend!

Food was fairly good, but very overpriced. I pay less for more food at home in Florida. If it had cost half as much it would have been worth it. Can't recommend and would stay away.

This is a terrible restaurant. Rip off. Waiter told us surf and turf was $17 and wine was $15. We clarified by saying one seven and one fivehe said yes. The Bill came back as $51 For the surf and turf and $39 for the wine. My dinner was taken off completely because it was not cooked right then they over cooked it with chef mike. After questioning the bill all of a sudden Noone spoke English and they took $9 off for the wine???? My husbands surf and turf was OK but the whole ordeal soured the experience.
