No joke. We live in Switzerland. Visited Italy 10+ times. This is authentic Italian pizza. Awesome.
The food is great with excellent customer service. It is not very expensive. There is an option in the menu to choose your own combination of pasta and sauce. Loved it!!
Food was terrific. Pizza had a really nice thin crust. Wood oven baked. The variations endless. Service was prompt and friendly. Only downside was the traffic noise as it is right on the highway.
We lived the wonderful pizza place in Costa Rica. Great pizza and nice quaint atmosphere!! I would definitely go back!
The pizza here is amazing! We made our own pizza both times we went, and the quality is great! I would highly recommend stopping here while in La Fortuna!
By far the BEST pizza I had in Costa Rica, and I tried a lot of pizza there because I just had pizza cravings all the time. It's actually one of the best pizzas I've had anywhere tbh. I had a pizza with shaved parm, prosciutto, and arugula, and shared a mango salad, and sangria. Everything was delicious and the service was great! Very friendly. Cute place. Definitely going back if I'm ever in La Fortuna again!
Good food. Great service!
Food was good but service was not good. Understaffed and we waited quote a while for our food, and drinks were mixed up three times. They were honest and didn't charge us. Overall, good place to eat if you're easy going with service.
Great food and service!!
Great place! Will definitely visit again on our next trip.
They have a basic selection of good quality pizzas and pastas or the option to create your own. Food is all fresh and top quality ingredients. Good atmosphere and very popular.
We had no idea what to expect from this place and just picked it on a whim, but we're really very glad we did. The place had amazing food, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend!
Can't recommend this place enough! We are in La Fortuna for only a few days and choose to eat here twice. The food is absolutely fantastic, reasonably priced and excellent service! If you are in La Fortuna and need a break from the "typical" cuisine, stop in at Anch'io you will not regret it.
This restaurant was absolutely amazing! My husband and I went to La Fortuna for our honeymoon and ate here TWO times we loved it so much! Pizza was cooked perfectly in the wood fired oven with fresh basil, pasta was over the over the moon amazing with homemade bolognase & and r got the Gorgonzola sauce the second time (also amazing), and the wine was chilled to perfection & in my opinion, overpoured in the best way! The environment was welcoming and clean, staff was timely and respectful, bathrooms were updated and in order. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant any day! Wish we had something this amazing in Virginia!
I really love this place the food and service are sensaciónal and very fast and accurate waiters are friendly and kind and understanding.
Food at the other hand is super delicious specially their creamy soups Ummm yummy.
I recommend this to anyone who wants to have a very romantic and lonely dinner.
Food was good, but pretty expensive for pizza compared to the prices in the US. It was quiet when we were there, but the atmosphere was calm and romantic.
We've been coming here for years and just love it. It's open walls make for a fresh dining experience, the staff are always very friendly and polite, and the thin crust pizza, we always get the Especial, is the best we know of in Costa Rica. It is on the pricier side, and we see it as worth it for sure. They even have craft beer now, 3000 colones each.
Expensive but mediocre. You expect to be able to stretch your money in Costa Rica. At this restaurant you definitely won't be able to. Food was ok, but not special. Service was poor, and cost every bit as much as in the US.
A little pricey but very good thin crust pizza.
