This was a really nice quiet place. The building is very simple but probaby the cheapest bed in town.

Good place to stay in Manzanillo. There's a kitchen you can use and little shops just around the corner.

Even though we arrived late, the sweet Slovenian woman who runs the hostel got out of bed to welcome us and show us to a minimalistic yet extremely charming room with fans, mosquito nets and a very clean bathroom. Just after sunrise, she had strong coffee ready in the eclectic open air kitchen which I sipped seated in the adjacent rustic dining area, gazing at the ocean across the small town street, as a heavy rain fell until the early morning subsided. We chatted about civilization, travel, kindness and cats and I found her company quite pleasant and stimulating. The surrounding town of Manzanillo has everything a low maintainence traveler needs, a grocery, a restaurant, the lovely Refugio Nacional Gandoca-Manzanillo and of course the Caribbean ocean. I highly recommend the Caricako if you're attempting to avoid touristy Puerto Viejo but still want a taste of beach life, this place is a diamond in the ruff!

Best hostel in Manzanillo! We stayed the first night somewhere else which wasn't even good enough. Definitely best value for money, awesome staff and everything made with love!

Our team stayed here back in August, and it was delightful, the host, the bunk beds. Will recommended every time. Also it has a great location, just front of the beach. Hope they keep doing well

Perfect for backpackers, and they even have private rooms as well, equipped kitchen, good water pressure, cozy common area, and the attention from the guests is top notch. Also the beach is across the street, you have a small market & a restaurant to the sides.

Hostel with bad athmosphere and service. First we were asked to pay $40, instead of the $30 on the website, then the guy gets completely stoned and only hangs out, and then he turns out not friendly as he first seemed.

Cancelaron mi reservación y tuve que ir a buscar otro lugar en la noche. Se veia como un lugar descuidado
