My partner and I just walked in for our very first surf lesson yesterday, the tide wasnt great so they told us to drop by today. There were three instructors for the both of us and they had us on the board in no time after giving us a safety run down. The instructors were with us in the water at all times and gave us tips on how to do it better. Overall we had a great "pura vida" experience and I would recommend to any newbies like us (also the prices are great!)

Had a lot of fun here! Got a surf lesson which was private since I was the only one staying. First night, the owner made dinner for everyone. Had good times with the girl doing work exchange. Super friendly, helpful and chill people. I appreciate the time I had and would go back to escape the busier and more expensive hostels. I went with an open mind, otherwise you can of course drop $250/night and stay at a hotel in guiones if that is your style.
I only rated this 3 star bc it was not the best conditions but not the worst either. As it is Costa Rica and there are bugs everywhere you go. The place is mellow but I had no Wi-Fi for 4 or 5 days out of the 7. The pool was not usable. I had to wear my shoes in the shower bc it was never comfortably clean. I barely found it while on the bus from Nicoya to Nosara, and even the girl working was surprised I found it when I showed up. Maybe they like to keep it a secret? As even the locals don't really know about the place. I kind of like that. They gave me a ride to the bus stop in nosara when I left and I truly felt a little sadness.

J'ai visité une bonne partie du Costa Rica et du Nicaragua et je peux affirmer que ce fut le pire auberge de jeunesse où j'ai été. Sur le site internet tout à l'air propre et intact, mais en vrai ce n'est absolument pas le cas. Dès que tu arrives devant l'auberge, il y a plein de matelas malpropre qui traine, je croyais presque que les lieux étaient abandonnées et je ne pensais pas que s'étais le bon auberge tellement il ne ressemblait pas aux photos. Les lieux sont très malpropre, ce sont deux jeunes qui sont responsables de l'auberge et il ne s'en occupe aucunement, il ne vienne jamais JAMAIS faire le ménages et sa parait par l'allure des lieux. Je n'est pas grand chose à dire de positif sur ce lieux. Il n'y avait même pas d'eau, il était alors impossible de prendre notre douche ou d'aller au toilette. Le Wifi ne marchait pas. J'aurais pu sincèrement dormir dehors et sa serait revenu au même que de payer et de dormir dans un endroit aussi minable et remplis d'insecte.

J'avais pourtant lu des commentaires positifs, je crois que depuis les lieux se sont beaucoup détérioré par la négligence des personnes responsables ce qui expliquerais son état actuel. C'est pourquoi,je vous déconseille cette auberge, pour le même prix vous pouvez trouver mieux, parce que mes nuits passées à cette endroit ne valait même pas 5$.
