  Great coffee is surprisingly difficult to find in coffee-growing Costa Rica, but Beso has nailed it. A little expensive but the best cup in Monteverde

  AMAZING coffee! Best I’ve had in a loooong time. It’s as good as a Melbourne coffee!! I really wanted to give 5 stars but the surly, and frankly rude, guy working there both times I visited mean I can’t.

  Perfect place to grab a great coffee in Santa Elena. Had a very tasty brownie and cafe mocha. Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. No laptop policy, but for so small a place - makes sense.

  Visited this coffee shop in January last year with my girlfriend. We have just been thinking back to our trip to Costa Rica and how could we forget this gem. Coffee is great and staff friendly. We happily bought a bag of beans to take home with us, after loving the taste of a particular type in store (unfortunately my memory isn't that good!). You can't flaw the hint of cocoa in true Costa Rican coffee, it beats the large coffee chains back home. A must visit if you are in Montreverde.
  P.s. from a design perspective I really admire the shops logo.

  Coffee was amazing! Italian style e.g. Cappuccinos, espresso, latte. Do yourself a favour and grab a quick coffee here!!

  Large selection of coffee and pretty good flavours. We didn't eat anything, however other guests said the food looked better than it tasted. For coffee there is nowhere better in town.

  We loved this little coffee shop. Delicious latte with coconut oil and left with two bags of coffee. Staff was friendly and helpful and assisted in my purchase. This is a boutique coffee shop not a place to work. I respect their no laptop policy.

  The espresso is good but doesn't even come with a glass of water. No laptops allowed. Not a cosy place to stay.
  There's a much better alternative on the other side of the small valley in the village.
