Fantastic operation. We went with our 7 and 9 year old and they had a blast. We felt safe and watched over. It was the highlight of our trip. They served a delicious breakfast and lunch. They also sell photos afterwards. A must do for your trip.

Horrible Guidesruined experience!!! We took the trip in 2017, and it would have been a fun trip if it weren’t for the guides’ terrible attitudes! One particular guide - with glasses, was just nasty right from the beginning, kept talking to other guides in Spanish about their customs believing we can’t understand them, but we do speak Spanish and that guy should be fired!!! One the brighter side, the photographer was very energetic and friendly. Overall, we would never recommend this trip to anyone!

AMAZING. The best guides, the best experience, and you get lunch AND dinner. The savegre river tour is absolutely beautiful with multiple waterfalls along the way, and very exciting too. The guides are super knowledgeable and take care of you no matter your experience level. Highly recommended. One of the best in the area. They will pick you up at your hotel/villa, bring you to their business and serve breakfast, then take you to the river and bring you back afterward for lunch, where you'll get to see all the great pictures their photographers took of you and your group along the way. You get to stop at a waterfall during the ride and have some pineapple, swim in the falls, and even go behind them to let the water fall on your and massage your shoulders. All around a five-star experience.

You have to go white water rafting with these guys!! They are fantastic!! A great company that cares about thier customers as well as the environment in Costa Rica. We had a great time!!

We had a group of 8 friends traveling together. We spent a day white water rafting with 3 guides. Orlando, Kenneth and Christopher. They were all amazing and friendly. Christopher took amazing photos and Orlando was our raft guide. They were all very professional and knowledgeable about the area. We all enjoyed the rush of white water rafting (most of us first timers) and we felt very safe. They also taught us a lot about quepos and the history of the it as well as the plantations. They also fed us breakfast, snacks, and lunch (included in the price). Our group hasn't stopped talking about the trip, you won't regret it!

This is the best river rafting experience I've ever had! All the guides were fun and helpful and really enhanced the fun. You could tell everyone who worked there loved their job and enjoyed being there. The whole time my family and I were engaged and having a great time. They stopped up the river and we all ate delicious pineapple and cookies while swimming under a waterfall! 10/10 experience! I'll return for sure!

Amazing experience! I've been to many parts of Costa Rica and done many tours, and this rafting trip on the Rio Savegre was easily the best in terms of guides, value, and adventure. It is not to be missed!

Our guide Orlando was the best. They provided lunch when we arived at the office, which was excellent. On the river Orlando was energetic and excited making it super fun for all of us, hands down an awesome experience!

One of the best rafting experiences many in our group have ever had! Great river, staff, food and photos. Started the day by getting picked up from our hotel and taken to their headquarters to fill out paperwork and enjoy a nice breakfast. Next we traveled to the river with a very enjoyable guide that was extremely knowledgeable of our surroundings. He told us many things about the area as we traveled to a stopping point where we had a chance to use restrooms and overlook the beautiful palms from above. The last stretch up to the river was full of our guide keeping us involved and informed. The river was amazing! Our group was divided into three rafts. We all thought our guide we'd the best and spent another enjoyable meal provided after returning debating it! I would put this on my to do list again. Thank You Amigos del Rio for an unforgettable experience.

Memories to last a lifetime! The 10 in 1 adventure was simply AMAZING! Communication with Emily was spot on. Talking with Ramirez was inspiring. Many thanks to Britchel, Michael, Andres, and the rest of the unsung workers who made the adventure possible! My daughter and I always felt safe through out this ADRENALINE fueled ADVENTURE that allowed us to literally JUMP out of our comfort zones!

Fun fun fun. We rafted a half day with all adults. We had a blast. Our guide was Anthony. He's been with them eight years. The company feeds you either breakfast or lunch that was very nice local fare. The Save her river was flowing high in early August definitely class three in many areas. The guides were very competent. Anthony has a big personality but you still feel like he is in control and safety co.ea first. You'll get VERY WET. The water is great though and the scenery is so breath takingly beautiful. Jurassic park. We stopped halfway and hiked to a gorgeous waterfall. They have a kayaker following at all times both for safety and to stop ahead and take terrific action shots. These are available for purchase at the end. $40 and they give you a link to a Dropbox site with all the photos in high res. I would definitely do this trip again
