Absolutely an awesome time. Alberto is incredibly nice as well as his family. This is by far the best horse tour my wife and I have ever been on. You are actually able to run your horse (if you're comfortable doing that) and direct where you want to go within reason. Other more commercial tours force you to stay in a line and there's no freedom. The meal prepared at the end was also one of the best meals we've had so far. She even accommodated my wife's vegetarian taste. This is by far a must do!! Best thing we have done in La Fortuna.

Must do everyone. Absolutely one of the best tours ever. Beautiful horses, such friendly people, Alberto himself and also wife (wonderful cook) and lovely son, Edson, who gave us the tour. We rode to the waterfalls and Edson gave so much interesting background information.

Awesome experience! Alberto was a terrific guide, and we had so much fun. The meal that Alberto's wife prepared was delicious!!! I highly recommend Alberto's Horses and plan to ride with him again the next time we're in La Fortuna.

I had a ride from Alberto's Horses to the waterfall. The horses are very calm and well trained, they practically took me there without much steering. Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful.
