    Nice museum, not as rich as Bogota's of course, but it tells done interesting stories about the region. Admission free.

    A wide variety of artifacts and a very cool history! It had history of the region and the house itself is the oldest in the country! Very cool!

    El Museo del Oro Tairona Casa de la Aduana es el nuevo punto de encuentro de la cultura en Santa Marta y un complemento a la valiosa labor cultural y educativa que ofrece a los samarios la Biblioteca del Banco de la República.

    It's very informative and free of charge so if you don't get to read about everything in one visit you can always come back..pity they don't have a little cafeteria in the courtyard..:)

    Nos gustó este lugar porque es organizado, relevante y sobre todo interesante. Fui con dos niñas pequeñas muy preguntonas que pudieron tener sus respuestas gracias a la info al lado de cada muestra.
    Es una pequeña joya en Santa Marta, muy pequeña pero perfecta para saber cosas puntuales de la historia de la ciudad y para ver piezas de orfebrería y cerámica de los primeros habitantes de esta zona.
    Fue divertido.

    You must visit! It is a a beautiful old house and my favourite museum in Santa Marta. It is my best recommendation for get to know local culture of the city. Entrance is free.
