Beautiful place although it costs 30% more to enter if you are not Colombian. My wife paid $15,000 I was charged $21,000. Despite having been resident for several years. Not very encouraging for tourists if they find out.

This place is a must if you're at least a bit interested in Colombian and even South American history, architecture and art. There are great things to learn here, and you can also enjoy a nice walk in a place filled with nature.

interesting place to visit, if you want to know a little more about the last days of the liberator Simon Bolivar, and the customs of the time. Doing it with a guide is my recommendation so you can take advantage of the visit. the cost of admission is 15 thousant pesos and the guide is a voluntary tip.

Place is amazing, definitely a must stop in Santa Marta. They gave us a tour guide that spoke English and she did an great job with the tour.

It is far too expensive and is not exactly an historical place. I mean Simon Bolivar only died there but he just spend there like 10 days in his life. There is nothing to see (at that price) plus, the guides ask for extra tips.

One of the most important historical places of Santa Marta, Simon Bolivar "El libertador" is the main star here, a lot of art sculptures, huge place with vegetation and buildings from the years of Bolivar. Also a museum in his honor with the history of his life and death.

The place is a very nice tourist site, but they charge an extra $6000 pesos for foreigners. On top of that, in the cafe they tried to give us a fake $10,000 bill (probably due to the fact that we were foreigners) as change.

Amazing place to learn part of the History of Colombia (with O) and enjoy modern art. I think the ticket is very expensive when the botanic garden requires more work.

A place that commemorates Simon Bolivar to a place that's really worth visiting. With beautiful trees, patios, and relaxing atmosphere. The guides are verry pleasant and encourage participation of every guest.
