  Do not go with big expectations. It is very small. its a small 2 room area with some photos on the walls and old telegraph machines. next door is a western union, the telegraph of the modern age. a very nice garden in the middle.
  
  This is, however, where gabriel Garcia marquez father worked. When GGM's mother was sent away and she wanted to go to a party, she sent a telegram to GGM's father asking permission to go via telegram. He sent his approval back via telegram and his mother went out and had a great time coming home at 7AM. And this was one of the incidents between Fermina Daza and Florentino Ariza in Love in the time of Cholera.
