Meets at least your basic needs for an inexpensive hotel; breakfast is served but it wasn’t anything special or great (they didn’t have this one thing on the menu available on two different days).

The bedrooms are ok and we got to be in two different ones on two separate stays—but nothing comparable. The toilets clog easily and hot showers were a luxury (our first room barely had any hot water). You can hear the staff talking in the wee hours of the morning if you have a room on the main floor. Wifi could be better.

They do have a public lounge type of area if you want to just chill but nothing much goes on there unless you are there to socialize. There is an open patio, no pool, but it is within walking distance to different restaurants and cafes and a grocery store.

The front desk staff can be quite accommodating but the only downside was our language barrier—they spoke little to no English, so there was a lot of hand gestures, broken Spanish, and Google translate for means of communication.

Excellent choice as a hotel if you have to spend any amount of time in Bogota. Good location close to many shops and restaurants. The breakfast is well done. Room was a good size.

We made reservations on Sunday night for an early check in; we arrived to the Casona Del Patio Hotel around 11:00 Am. The staff, warm & very friendly greeted us at the door and quickly checked us in. The Staff "Angelica, Michael & Alejandro" were superb in meeting and fulfilling all our requests. We had spent the night before at the Ambar Hotel in the historic district of La Candelria where we got robbed outside the hotel door and the staff was totally inept and spoke no English at all.
The Casona Del Patio restored our faith in the Bogota hospitality and comfort as well as safety. Thank you. Our trip was salvaged and very enjoyable thanks to your staff @ the Casona Del Patio, we'll definitely be back.
