3.5 stars would be more accurate. We stayed on the top floor and had a beautiful view down our cultural street. Very small room that could use a little up keep, and the bed was very hard. The hotel is small and doesn't offer much else but a place to our your head down. The cost is attributed to the location and this hotel is all about location, location, location. You walk oh the door and are 5 minutes or less to just about every major store, restaurant and, experience in old Town. The serve breakfast, but it's super basic, however they do make omelets, but to be honest you can get a way better breakfast experience by leaving the property. Overall it was a food stay, and left me feeling like we slightly overpaid for what we got.

Excellent location. Rooms need major updating and remodeling. Very poor lighting. The last night there were tiny insects on walls and curtains. Staff friendly but need training in customer service. Will chose another hotel next visit.

Amazing location in the walled city. Room was clean and comfortable, with AC and wifi. Rooms x01 and x02 have a balcony with a great view for people watching on the streets in Cartagena. Unfortunately, when those rooms are on the second floor, they are located directly beside the front desk. We could clearly hear any interactions happening at the front desk starting from about 7AM each day. Additionally, we seemed to only have hot (or warm) water for showers during half of our stay- fortunately Cartagena is such a hot city that it didn't matter too much.

Localização excelente, em uma das principais ruas da cidade histórica de Cartagena. O prédio é antigo, então os quartos também são. Primeiro, ficamos no 304, que tinha um cheiro muito forte de mofo, provavelmente vindo do ar condicionado. Por isso, resolvemos manter desligado. Sorte que o quarto era fresco! A cama era muito barulhenta. Pedimos para trocar de quarto. Os funcionários são muito atenciosos! Recebemos um upgrade e fomos para um quarto melhor, cheiroso e com cama queen. Chuveiro com água quente e fria, com boa vazão. O café da manhã é simples mas tudo é delicioso: fazem omeletes e ovos mexidos na hora; o pão integral com uva passa é mega macio; bolo de banana saboroso; granola crocante abacaxi super doce. Ponto negativo: o café é servido num lugar sem ar condicionado, o que no calor deve ser bem desagradável. Lugar pequeno mas aconchegante e com bom atendimento.

Os quartos são ótimos, o café da manhã é muito bom mas tivemos um péssimo inconveniente durante nossa estadia. Logo quando fizemos check-in nos foi oferecido o serviço de agendamento de visita às ilhas prócimas a Cartagena. Agendamos uma visita a uma dessas ilhas para nosso penúltimo dia de estadia mas os atendentes do hotel tiveram um problema de falta de comunicação e cancelaram nosso agendamento sem nos consultar ou avisar. Na manhã do dia combinado nos levantamos cedo e ficamos esperando o transporte mas não apareceram. Só aí quando reclamamos soubemos do ocorrido. Uma total falta de respeito conosco. Perdemos um dia de programação numa viagem internacional. Um absurdo. O atendimento foi péssimo. O hotel nem se dignou a nos ressarcir ou oferecer alguma reparação. Foi muito frustrante.

We are just getting done with a two night stay here and we would stay longer of we could. The rooms are nice and the staff is wonderfully helpful. Our stay included breakfast with cooked to order eggs, empanadas,fresh fruit, yogurt and much more, very tasty. My only complaint would be the beds were a bit hard but I still slept well. Over all great place and we will be staying here again next time.

Cute hotel, really centrally located. Fair price and very kind and helpful staff. The reception desk speaks English. Rooms are comfortable and air conditioned. All in all a great deal.
