Nice hotel. Pleasing amenities. Poor service. My friend accidentally dropped appetizers on the floor and the waiters just walked by. I had to clean that up whereas the waiters just stood by. Interesting attitude.

I've been to three high class hotels on the bund such as Waldorf, Fairmont, Peninsula. But this one has more attraction to me. Not too much, not too less.

I visited the Waldorf Astoria bar for cigars and drinks with friends. The atmosphere and drinks were great, but the cigars and service left something to be desired. The service was alright when we first arrived, but we were never asked if needed anything else. We had to go find a waiter or waitress when we wanted more drinks, water, etc. The selection of cigars was very limited and almost all of the cigars in stock were dry and had blown out ends. I would recommend dining and smoking elsewhere.
