This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. I thought I'd booked into a nice hotel since it's a sofitel, but the definition of luxury got lost in translation. This hotel is old and reeks of lame attempt at projecting "luxury". It's also more of a family hotel with guests bringing literally their whole family (the grandparents, the children, the ayis). Forget about luxury or romance; this is not the place to go.

咸鱼网买的优惠活动，就直接过来了，酒店还是比较好找的，地铁下来，地铁口有好多黑车，到酒店15块钱，其实走走也不是很远的路。酒店整体感觉不错，周围没有小吃什么的，也没有外卖可以送，可以在酒店吃自助餐厅，价钱有点小贵。这次去酒店有个小插曲，晚上儿子发烧，打电话问了酒店前台有没有退烧药，结果是回答没有。我想知道为什么酒店没有最基本的必备药品？过了几分钟前台告知，可以帮客人去买，说是附近有家医院，然后就来了一个人帮忙去买药，和我说他身无分文，买药是需要付服务费和来回车费的，我绝的这些都是很合理的，于是我给了他2百块去买药，回来之后，他把药给我，然后把1百块钱还给我，手上拿着一叠找下来的零钱，又给了我20块，然后和我说，其余的是他的小费😂😂😂😂说真的，大晚上的让你去买药，给小费也很正常，只是我觉得一个服务员自己开口说剩下的钱是他的小费，我绝的这点酒店还是要加强对员工的培训。

I stay there 2 nights for a business / conference trip in November 2014. Great gym for workout. The pool is not a 50m size but remains ok for a workout.. Breakfast provide a large and well-diversified choice. Quiet place and standard room are OK. Night turns out at a cost of around 110 Euros for a standard single room.

If you are in the Center of Shanghai , suggest you to take metro line 9 first , stopped at sheshan station and call a taxi to reach the hotel then , only 10 mins . Very nice hotel and good service, small standard room but very sweet. best place for a family with a child.
