Renew hotel. Every room has smart control system. Very good experience with Peninsula's global standard service.

Decent ambiance and staff, if you want a combination of east and west, get to shop while keep private space, this is it.

We are a family of 9 and had 3 rooms at the Peninsula hotel. We could not be more pleased with the opulence and high class service that we received during our 4 day stay. The attention to details was simply amazing. We received personalized service from the time that we checked in to our last moments. We routinely stay at the Ritzwe didn't miss a beat here. Might I venture to say that our stay was better than our many stays at RC around the world. Bravo to the peninsula hotel in Beijing!!!

My room is a duplex, which I don't like. I don't know if all or most of the rooms in the hotel are duplexes - I didn't ask. The hotel seems very nice, but there aren't any spaces (restaurant, bar sitting) that I feel I want to spend any time. The gym is sufficient, but given it is a 5 star hotel I would expect more.

Mari Li the Peninsula Ambassador is the star attraction at this lovely hotel. The newly renovated rooms look great. Miss the exec lounge and the camaraderie it fostered. But the hotel was smart and made Mary Li (who used to supervise the lounge) their ambassador.

Front desk attendant good attitude, fluent in English, elevator on the third floor above require credit card, I booked a double room, the room is not too small now, but not luxurious decoration, may be the reason for the old hotel room Lane is still very comfortable chaise longue, haha

A high quality and very Western-friendly hotel. It's a great location that was walking distance to a lot of things we wanted to see (including the Forbidden City). For almost everything else, we walked to the very close subway station. Most of the staff spoke great English and were helpful and accommodating. They were able to give recommendations for most of the things we asked about; however, they tended to be on the pricier side due to the surrounding area and higher scale of the hotel.
