Nice place to have Chinese culture experience inside everything is written in Chinese , not possible to understand without a guide
Nice hotel.very near to Tiananmen and forbidden city
I met here with a friend, and the golden interior was dazzling. Definitely a new experience with Days Inn abroad!
This is a really good hotel based on its price and location. We stayed in many hotels in China and I do applaud the cleanliness and mannerisms of the staff here. You are right in the center of Beijing. This was a life saver for us. 5 min walk to the forbidden city and market. The staff were very nice, and helpful. The buffet breakfast was also good. For China I was very pleased. I would come back.
Great location, relatively clean, and inexpensive. No complaints!
Not worth your time
So this place was not good for me at all. The location was pretty amazing since it was a hop, skip and a jump from The Forbidden City and for a pretty good price. But the room was nasty at best. It stunk of mildew and mold. I asked for a new room and the next room was just as bad, so I kept the first. I was then informed I could upgrade and get a room upstairs. I should have really I should have. I returned home with and developed an upper respiratory infection. I think it was potentially from the mold and mildew in the room.
Now, the staff was very friendly and quick to serve, with one exception I will share in a moment. My biggest beef was with the room. Here I am several weeks after the trip and still battling the infection.
Additionally, this hotel is SUPPOSED to be smoke free. Someone lit up on our hallway and I got a pretty strong smoke presence in my room. I went to the front desk and asked if they could do anything about it. They actually laughed awkwardly and told me no. Not the best experience.
NOTE: Do NOT stay in the basement rooms
Close to the airport and they offer a free shuttle, especially handy for an early morning flight. Nice hotel and staff speak English.
This place can get very busy especially when clearing security checks so schedule that into your trip there, otherwise heaps of history and photo opportunities all around.
