After 7 months traveling to S. America, Antarctica, Africa, Russia and Mongolia, this was the nicest accommodations we have stayed in. Not the most expensive but with such HUGE rooms, washer and dryer, huge pool and great gym, convenient location, excellent staff, good breakfast, and comfortable beds and pillows, it was the nicest!! Daisy at the front desk is the kindest person with good english. I highly recommend this hotel especially if you have kids. We got two rooms for the samw price as one room at a 5 star hotel.

The check in process takes some time and there is usually only one person checking guests in.
The blanket in my room clearly had stains on it and I had to request a new one (not easy to communicate with staff)
You have to call the front desk 5 times before you get an answer.
The cleaning staff left my door open when they were done.
The pool is very nice however i only stayed for 10 minutes because locals were spitting in the water.
There are much better accimadations in Beijing, I would not consider staying here.response / report this review -

Pros
The room we stayed in was spacious with kitchen and laundry facilities. A plus when you are travelling with 2 young kids.
It is located downtown so close to restaurants, malls and subway.
The front desk staff was helpful and can communicate in English.
Breakfast spread is as expectedalright.
Nice pool area and playroom for kids.
Cons
No air conditioning: They actually have the units in the room but the cooling has been switched off centrally cos the weather is still cold. Never mind the temperature has been over 20 °C in the afternoons. This leaves the room stuffy and warm and smelly after you've had a meal in it. It's worse at night. So, they provided a fanbut you need fresh air for the fan to be effective. So, they opened our windows and balcony doors which allowed for cooler air along with horrible smells of rot and smoke and noise in the middle of the night. Also, we were sleeping with the balcony doors opened. We didn't sleep well in this hotel. My daughter and husband's allergies were worse at night due to the air from outside, but the other option was to sleep in a hot stuffy room.
Room Service: Food from restaurant is not so great and expensive.
The rooms could be better cleaned. After housekeeping services, we would still find dirt on the floor. Once I moved the dining chairs from under the table before going out, so they had no choice but to clean under the table.
Some pieces of furniture e.g. dining table and sofa are a bit tiredneeds replacement.
For us, the lack of air conditioning spoilt our stay.response / report this review -

Beautiful hotel with central location to all sites. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are so spacious and luxurious.

這是第二次來北京，選擇了王府井，因為是新酒店，出租車還不是很清楚名字。從網上下載的地圖幫了我。其實就在王府井路口，東方廣場西面。公寓酒店，超大，超新，員工和善、看着就新，但是還算到位。 值得一提的是房，我們住的最小戶型也有70／80平米。兒子最喜歡的是泳池。在8層，陽光足。值得住。價格比太值了。
