Big room but carpet and furniture dated. Bathroom is rather small. Good views though (depending on direction and weather permitting). Restaurant quality is average at best but staff are helpful and generally friendly.

Newer hotel. Nice facilities. Nice pool. Very clean, rooms are spacious and comfortable, definitely newer.

The restaurant environment is very elegant, like the chandelier design here, is the sailboat shape, and the sea god of the hotel name is very fit. The hotel is also Mediterranean style. Dishes to the main dish of Shanghai, the taste is authentic master of the masterpiece of the masterpiece, moderate taste, a taste is known as the old master, both in the swing plate or selection are very hard! Service is also very good, after all, four-star hotel restaurant, the quality of service personnel is better than the social restaurant.

Crappy hotel for 4star title.

My first experience with this hotel was ok. But recent experience was crappy . room was not clean at all. Got almost electrocuted by broken iron box. Some younger staffs are nice but others not good communicator. Everyone is not treated the same way.

I had the pleasure to stay at the Novotel Atlantis hotel in Shanghai.

The big PLUS of the Novotel Atlantis is its staff, featuring a mix of local Chinese and French employees. The combination of Westerners working side by side with the local straff makes it especially beneficial to the foreign guests. While the locals are very good at helping with information search, and assisting in communication with Chinese service providers, the Western staff is taking it few steps further, with their better understanding of foregin guests needs, higher service standards, and smoother communication capability.
When facing problems, the French staff is going out of their way to help and trying find solutions. It is definately what gives the hotel it's charm, making it a home away from home for guests coming from afar.

Regular Novotel or generally accor hotels. Was here once. Enjoyed my stay. Staffs are friendly. Recommended.
