Nice hostel near the bund. It is cheap and good. Subway station is reachable in 10 minutes by walk

Big room and clean, only one toilet for almost 30 people, completly unfriendly staff, they do not want to help you and they will not do it, they say they have breakfast, but they do not, and the worst of all: I booked for a room at the reception, because I was had to come back to Shanghai the next week. When I came back they told me that I had not booked a bed so I have not a room, it was friday, at 20:00, the only alternative they gave me was to rent a single room for 200 hundred yuans, so I had to check for a new hostel, a friday, at night.

Pros: cheap, big rooms, decent WiFi, location just off Bund is hard to beat. Cons: comically unfriendly staff (with one exception), elevator is a deathtrap which was out of commission on departure day

Nice hostel depending on the room you get. Best part is the rooftop bar and restaurant on the 6th floor, to watch the lights. Things turn off around 10. Not much of a common room downstairs though.

Nice and convenient hostel near the Bund in shanghai.
Awesome lounge terrace with view on the Bund.
