PLEASE AVOID. The bathroom is grimy and the carpets are dirty. There were also unpleasant noises from the other room, this hotel is filled with sleaze, drunkards with call girls can be seen along the hallway. The shower room had a thick cake of greyish brown mildew and was in need of a scrub. The sliding door in the toilet was practically non functional and lots of human matter had collected at its edges. The "non-smoking" room stinks of cigarettes. The receptionist was uncooperative and does not understand a word of English. All travellers looking for a nice place to stay, please avoid Huaqiang Plaza hotel.
Well, I usually host my friends in this hotel and everything is so perfect. Not a five star hotel but honestly a great one.
Have stayed here many times. Rooms are excellent. Lobby and rooms are on upper floors so lifts become an issue. There are 3 that go up to the lobby and sometimes they turn one off to save electricity. Breakfast can be a bit of a challenge - but this is China. Good value hotel!
Good place to stay but the staff has a hard time understanding English and they switch off air conditioning as per there will in winters.
Pros:
-Great location, right on an electronics district and close to a lot of shopping centers, restaurants.
-Convenient location, close to the subway and convenience stores.
-wifi.
Cons:
-The hotel lobby and the rooms are on the top floors of the building starting on the 23rd floor. It takes some time just to get to ground level.
