It's a 600 m walk (10 min) from exit A of the Xisi metro station on line 4. This temple highlights the profiles of ancient emperors in China's history. As noted on the info board, "by the end of Qianlong period of the Qing dynasty, there had been 188 emperors". It's a bit tiresome to read each profile. My motivation was zapped after a few profile reads. There's also family name records traced along ancestral lines. This is interesting for those doing genealogy. Some buildings have a very sparse museum of pottery and statues
