A lot of people consider their xiaolongbao as the best one in town! Thin skin xiaolongbao that's filled with flavourful meat and broth; freshly made. It's a Taiwanese restaurant chain that beats Shanghainese xiaolongbaos at their own game.
Not per expected.
Not good for the money.
They served better food in HK.
The service is ok but the food not as good as the one I have tried in Hong Kong (taste and quantity).
Consistently delicious, this branch is one of the best I've been to. Definitely on par with the pu dong ones. Always make a point to come here once (or more!) per trip.
Enjoyable dim sum place and always happy to have din tai fung's dim sum! They serve good quality dim sum and it is reasonable price!
Here in China there seems to be the impression that these are awesome dumplings. I myself find them a bit better than anywhere else but much more money. The service is great and this is what I think makes it upscale. Anyway, overpriced and not special.
Din Tai Fung has a reputation to maintain and they do it marvellously. The dumplings, the soup, the veggies all delicious! And the service is impeccable.
The food is spectacular. Xiao Long Bao dumplings or soup dumplings are special. Many different fillings including pork, chicken, hairy crab and gourd are available. The atmosphere and service is great. Many different locations around Shanghai.
Excellent Din Tai Fung. Really good service and, of course, food. They have always been great about trying to find me a table, even when they are busy. Consistently great, like every other restaurant in their business.
