Straight up the best. Quite funny when you can feel the metro running underground while having this juicy sweet XLB!!
Simple and cheap!
The Xiao Long Baos are very flavourful and rich in juices! Must try! We tried the Fuchun, Prawn and Crab XLBs. There are 6 in each steamer but my friend was too hungry and grabbed 1 before I could take my photos.
Take the subway Line 2 to JiangSu Road, take exit 2 and head east on Yuyuan Road.
One of the best place for traditional Shanghai soup dumpling. Btw, as people who were born and grew up in Shanghai, we couldn't accept din tai fung's soup dumpling as a symbol. Every time when people told me soup dumpling should be made like din tai fung's , I just feel so upset. Cause we think Fuchun and wanshouzhai have the best soup dumpling. As well as din tai dung provides Taiwanese flavor which is totally different from Shanghainese flavor.
Best Xiao Long Bao in Shanghai! Always crowded but the service is very fast. The dumplings are always fresh & hot
Amazing xiao long bao!!! This restaurant is at least as good as Din Tai Fung. Fuchun Xiaolong might not be located in a fancy mall, but the dumplings do not lack in flavor or authenticity. Each order comes with 6 dumplings for the absolute bargain price of 10RMB My two friends and I ordered 4 orders and then decided to get another 4 orders!
The BEST XLB in Shanghai!!! (We went to 12 places and ordered 20 dishes)
Good meat density, with a slightly bouncy mouth feel. Really thin and noodle like skin. Hangs heavy with a good juicy soup ratio. Bursting with savory fatty pork flavor, buttery and umami. with a subtle sweetness.
Wow, just WOW.
place doesn't speak english, or offer english menu. You pay up front, and then they give you a slip that you need to put on a clothes pin from the table to you are hovering by, and then give that pin to the kitchen, who will deliver it when it is ready.
Too rich for me, but i liked the thicker wrappers. The Xiaolong Bao were good and cheap, what more could you ask for. They also have a lot of other things on the menu besides dumplings
