Beautiful tranquil hotel in the heart of the city with great roof top view and a 4 face Buddha inside the yard

I fully recommend this hotel. The assistant manager who provided the airport shuttle with the hotel was lovely and his English was fantastic. The hotel was classic and traditional but also very modern. There is an on-site massage parlour and restaurant. Great hotel and city to visit.

Spacious room, rain shower bathroom, Very comfortable bed, nice and decent breakfast even thou the variety is not wide. Good and quite environments, which is close to Wenshu monastery. A short walk(5 mins) to the metro station. This hotel is only 3 storey tall but it doesn't come with an elevator.

Utterly charming, every detail is perfect. Old time character but modern conveniences. The most beautiful room and the most comfortable bed I do recommend splurging for the deluxe room if you can. The best customer service we have encountered in China. The restaurant is superb, if a little pricey for the area. This is in a pedestrian district so no cars = tons of little shops and no noise. The surrounding streets are easy to get lost in but you won't mind There is so much to see!

I wish I could live in this hotel.

One caveat: There are no elevators, and no rooms on the ground floor, so if you are physically impaired or the Chengdu air is shredding your lungs, you might have a bad time. The porter will cheerfully whisk up your bags. He must be the most fit man in the city, like Olympian level fitness.

Comfy hotel with decent breakfast and friendly service. They nice people running the front desk knee answers to questions before I even asked :D They have useful maps of the area and recommended a great vegetarian hot pot restaurant across inside the Buddhist temple across the way.

Beautiful hotel, very English speaker friendly. The experience is one of a kind in this modern yet traditional feeling Chinese hotel. If you're looking a unique, comfortable, safe and very accommodating stay in Chengdu, I highly recommend it.
