The view onto the bund is extraordinary. But same are prices for drinks compared to chinese average. Mostly European guests and nice club in the underground of this building

I'm giving this place 3 stars because of the view from its terrace. Go there before 10pm because that's when the bund lights are shut off now. As for clubbing, it's another boring and pretentious club. The music has never been good.

The view is really amazing from this roof top bar come before 2300 if you want to enjoy the view because lights across the river goes off at this time
Downside would be the inflated price of drinks. A corona will set you back at 10 dollars..
Overall was a nice experience of Shanghai.

Good area for expats to go for a drink and enjoy the view.
Good atmosphere and great design with rooftop bar to see across the lake.
Close very early ( as with everywhere on a Sunday night in Shanghai).
But be careful of wondering locals downstairs offering other "bars" and "KTV" open til late. They are placed there to trick you and steal your money as a easy expat target.
Beware of a dude called Bahama. Chinese 6'2" guy behind the streets of Bar Rouge. Scar on his forehead from being bottled by a German he was trying to steal money off of in a room. These guys work with the police to get ya money.

Come here for the view. It is spectacular. Drinks are overpriced though, so come with that in mind unless you manage to get them for free ;-)

Been there 2 days back. It's a great place to be with the best view. Was bit concerned about seeing some comments about they being resist and bouncer behaviour. But honestly it was different experience. They were all great and helpful (though I am a dark skin guy). Price is ok, considering the service, the view and the music you get. When you get good you need to pay good. Will recommend to all. Respect them and they will respect you back for sure. Thanks and will visit soon again.

Best location in Shanghai view wise. Drinks are quite expensive. When we arrived around 9 pm there were not too many people but as the night continued, it got very crowded. We had a table right in the front, but had we not had one I would have gone mad as there was literally no place to stand anymore. People were shoving each other around and standing on each others feet. No idea how they would have evacuated that place on time in case of an emergency.
