  This airport becomes much much better than it before. Beautiful, clean, even service is better. Hope there are more this kind of airports in China.

  The old airport in Shanghai servicing both international & domestic passengers. Good domestic connections. Taxi lines are long. Facilities are outdated. But, if you cherish your time more than these inconveniences, Hongqiao is a way much better choice compared to the faraway Pudong airport.

  There is no smoking at this airport. Facilities are fine.
  
  If you are travelling with China Southern Airlines it is almost guaranteed you will experience a delayed flight. Delayed coming and delayed going. The excuse announced this time was 'weather'. However the weather is fine at both ends.

  A good alternative to Shanghai's other airport in Pudong. Around 45 minutes by taxi from and to Shanghai's city center.
  
  A few expensive duty free shops and a number of restaurants. As with other China airports, tight and strict security.
  
  Comfortable wait in their lounge area.

  Very Nice and clean airport. The only thing is that transfer from one terminal to another is pretty complicated when the subway stops.

  Pleasant staff, clean, quick, and efficient.
  Smoking after security in Terminal 1, I do not smoke, but it is a right for those who do smoke to have a place. This world promotes alcoholism, but shuns smokers.

  clean, fast & friendly - immigration / emigration both fast and easy - open air smoking area but they take away your lighters at security (they almost found all of mine :)

  if i could do no stars i would. they had the most terrible service i have ever held witness too!
  
  they changed the gate number for our plane without tilling us. they did not change electronic signs nor did they put through speaker system.
  
  this happened to a few other people. They also lost our baggage, its has almost been a week now. my friend has finished vacation and back to own country without luggage.
  
  they made threat that they would not put me on the next flight when i tried to discuss it with them.
