  The best chocolate cafe I have ever been. The dark chocolate cake recommended is authentic and strong-flavored, best suit for a cup of double-espresso. Amazingly, they also serve nice Porto wine, greatest wine suit with the chocolate or other sweets.

  When an article was written about this place in TimeOut Shanghai, I thought I should give it a try and the chocolate here is amazing. The have a nice little selection of cakes for around 45rmb and have a variety of different styles of hot chocolate from milky to 'European' style thick hot chocolate. They also do a few nice cocktails. Whilst the chocolate side of Hof is excellent, I wish the same could be said about the coffee and food. The coffee here tastes so so and the pizza is a little over priced, even considering the business lunch offering.
  
  So if you want cake and chocolate based drinks, this is the place to go but for coffee or anything else, you may want to look else where.
