Very good wine tour. Available in English. Excellent wines.
I can't say enough wonderful things about my winery experience at Undurraga. The tour was one of the best I've ever experienced, both informative ad captivating. The vineyard itself was a lovely layout with views from the mountains. And finally, the wines themselves can't be beat. Some of my favorites from all of Chile.
The vineyard has a unique aroma room that has 40 aromatic experiences in the form of scent boxes which allows you to better understand the flavors which you smell and taste in your wine. I've never seen a vineyard offer such a thing, but it was very helpful in deepening my wine knowledge.
If you're planning a wine or day trip to Maipo Valley, be sure to put Undurraga on your list of stops.
Fantastic vineyard and fantastic tours of the property. Learned so much about the wine making process and the local history on wine making.
The tour ended in a tasting of four different wines, all of which were excellent.
That we were able to keep our tasting glasses for souvenirs was nice added bonus.
Did the tour in English and the guide David was great. Very knowledgeable and great in explaining all and answering any questions.
Very nice tour around de vineyards, excellent explanation and history, the staff was very nice and friendly, the wines tasted were awesome, specially the "Carmenere" and the "Late Harvest" the last one having a wonderful passion fruit flavour. I highly recommend this place for groups and couples.
What a wonderful way to spend half a day if you are staying in Santiago. There are many tours offered here, but you can organize a trip without using a tour agency. If you inquire directly with Undurraga, they will tell you how to take public transit directly to their doorstep. Final cost from Santiago was less than $3000/person plus $12000 for the tour. The tour includes a great tasting at the end and a souvenir glass. The staff, especially the guide, was fantastic.
Amazing vineyard with a very nice garden. The English tour took 1 hour and 15 min, cost 11,000 pesos per person, and the tour guide was competent and friendly. There were 3 wines to taste afterwards, including high quality examples. Overall impression was very clean and well-maintained vineyard with much more to do than just drink good wines.
It is very cozy winery. I took the English tour along with a friend. The guide was very attentive and kind. I've particularly enjoyed going to the cellars. We've tasted 5 wines altogether, I am not into sweet wine, but Late harvest is tasty, not too sweet, very light-bodied.
S super Place to visit and I recommend the tour
We did a tour of Vina Undurraga and loved it. The guide, who has been working at Undurraga for 30 years was great.
Great winery, very good tour. Good wines in the store. Try the founders collection, very good wine.
