For what it is, budget lodging, it's not bad. The rooms are clean enough though they could be maintained a bit better. The windows are not sealed and the noise from the street is very loud, even on the 10th floor. When busses pass by you may as well be lying on the sidewalk. BUT, the location is prime and there is a 24 hr bar/coffee shop in the lobby, so that's nice. Staff have been friendly. If you're going to be in Santiago more than a couple nights, you'll probably want something more comfortable if you have the budget for it, but for a weekend it is okay. If I ever come back to Santiago I'll likey spend a bit more for higher tier lodging.
Basic facilities. Value for money. Friendly staff. Good shower pressure and shower area. Quick wifi. Near really awesome cafes and restaurants. Short walk to megamall and beautiful parks. Can book tours at lobby. Good bed for 2. Good air con and lighting in room.
The Ibis Providencia is in a great location and offers excellent value for money. Staff were helpful and friendly. But in achieving such value, some aspects are not 5 star. We found the room to be quite noisy — both traffic noise from outside and other guests moving about the hotel. The breakfast in comparison with buying breakfast at a local cafe was good value but the choice was limited and after 4 days, we wanted a change.
Very good hotel, clean, size of rooms somewhat small, friendly staff although at times only one person at the front desk, so you can wait some 15 minutes for a simple question. Room amenities could be better (shampoo is not good).
Very good location.
The hotel was not too bad. Basic, as you'd expect from Ibis, but certainly functional. There was a reasonable amount of dust on my floor, but other than that, it was clean and livable. Breakfast is basic but okay too. Staff easy to deal with, and the location is central, yet not necessarily close to anything in particular. Decent, and I'd stay again.
It was a nice stay, but infortunnatelly the fact that the air conditioner is turned off on the winter made a huge impact on our stay. As this was the end of winter, it got hot with 2 people on the room i woke up cover on sweat and we had to open the window. The street is so noisy that we woke up several times. I think you should let the guest decide if he wishes or not to turn on the air conditioner, as it is announced that the room has one.
We came to the Ibis Providencia at 2 am after arriving to Santiago and discovering that we were in a HORRIBLE hotel. Evellyn was great in solving our problem and accomodating us fast.
Gregorio ( Front Desk), Vinicius and Macarena were incredible in making us feel welcomed, with great local tips. Gregorio excelled in taking care of us and helping us with everything.
Special thanks and praise to him.
The service is really good. The location os really good near market, subway. The breakfast could be better.
The location is rhe best quality of this Hotel. The food and internal dependencies such as lobby and rooms are pretty good considering the prices.
I have this experience before, and I will repeat it again. I like IBIS
Terrible bedrooms. Terrible staff (not friendly at all)
I like the hotel. The bathroom was not extremely clean when I arrived
Breakfast is really poor!
The location is ok but you can hear everything from the next room and the place is not constructed firmly to stand earthquakes, better stay in lower floors
Comfortable, clean beds in clean rooms. Friendly staff. All the basic amenities you expect from a modern hotels. Nice, safe location. I stayed here 3 nights and had no issues at all.
