We booked a lake-view room that proved to be larger than expected with charming appointments. The hotel staff was welcoming, courteous, and very helpful. The hotel lobby is very attractive, and the hotel is beautifully situated on the shore of Lake Leman (Lake Geneva), adjacent to the headquarters of the Montreux Jazz Festival. We look forward to another stay in the next year or two.

Seventies hotel but in good shape, great views and a classy copper main reception with comfy seats looking over the lake. Recommended if you can get a deal.

This hotel is fine because of this good lake location and for the food. However, it is not worth the 5 stars. The facilities are quite old.. carpet everywhere, small elevator, no renovation in the bedroom..

We had a wonderful few days stay at the hotel, I was welcomed by a wonderful lady at the front desk who took care of our room check-in and check-out. Everything was great in the hotel, we enjoyed the beautiful view from the room terrace. And I wished if it was possible to extend my stay for additional days however, the hotel appeared to be fully booked.

Great hotel. It is so nice to be in a place that has a/c when it is 37 degrees Celsius outside. Amenities are great and it is really nice being right on the promenade. Waterfront balcony does not have a busy road in front and the view is amazing.

We had a relatively comfortable stay. It was very hot and muggy the week we spent in Montreux and it was difficult to get the room cool enough for comfortable sleeping. At other times of the year this probably would not have been a problem. The staff was very attentive. The food was good. The location was fantastic.

Had a great time staying here our room was gorgeous, the views were breath taking and we really enjoyed the spa. The hotel was in the perfect location for getting around montreaux. I would stay here again but not eat at the hotel. On our first night we were quite tired off traveling so decided to eat in the hotel, we were told to book as the hotel restaurant had a few groups in there that night, so we booked for 7.30pm however when we arrived we were told we didn't have a reservation and left standing until someone sorted it out even though there was nobody in the Bar or restaurant. We eventually got seated and ordered 2 steak mains both cooked medium. When our steaks arrived one was overcooked and one was just right also the veg was a bit too hard. We didn't complain as there wasn't a sole in the restaurant or Bar and it had no atmosphere so we couldn't wait to get out of there even though we were told it was busy that night. The next day we come down for breakfast which we both really enjoyed so as it was raining by lunch time we decided to give room service a call and order a margarita pizza and a large fries. It was a 25 minute wait which I didn't mind however when it arrived they had forgotten the fries and when I asked the woman about them she just said they hadn't been added to my order and if I want them it would take longer. I didn't bother as I didn't want to eat the pizza and fries separate. Then when I lifted the the lid on the pizza I was absolutely shocked that they would even let it leave the kitchen, it was visibly burnt and rock hard round the edges and base and for 25Francs that really is unacceptable. We were starving by this point and ate what we could.
I did really enjoy my stay and would love to stay again. I would have given 5 stars if the standard of the food matched it's hefty price and there was some sort of quality control being done before dishes left the kitchen as messing up orders and sending out visibly burnt food in a hotel rated 5 star is really not acceptable.

The exterior of the building is nondescript, but the interior is very nice. There is only one elevator but I never had to wait long. The room was lake-view on the top floor. It was medium-sized with two full beds. Overall, it was in excellent condition with new, plush carpet, nice bedding and a large LED TV. The shower was nice in that you didn't have to step over anything to get in it. There were also two vanities, which is great for a couple. The internet was medium speed.

However, the view on the veranda was spectacular. We overlooked a public walkway on the shoreline that was teeming with flowers and vegetation. The lake was gorgeous and we also had a nice view of the mountains in the distance. This alone made the stay worthwhile.

While I wouldn't call this a true 5-star property, it was still very nice and reasonably priced.

Old rooms , tiles falling off the walls in the bath.
    Expensive breakfast with standard buffet!
    Strange behaviour for business travelers.
Was booked for two nights. Had to leave for business reasons after first night. They charged two nights! Explanation: Hotel policy!
My comment: My Customer policy! Complain on GOOGLE!
    Not recommendable!!
