The garden is nice, the building itself is too old. No other places around to eat.

Uno degli hotel meno cari per la permanenza di una singola notte in territorio svizzero. Accoglienza e disponibilità dello staff ottime e colazione abbondante all'inglese. La stanza sarebbe potuta essere migliore ed è l'unica cosa che fa scendere la mia valutazione a 4 stelle.

Very friendly staff, and a simple hotel on a beautiful spot.
We had been sitting in the Friday afternoon traffic for a long time a decided to find a hotel. We were very delighted to arrive to this hotel and meeting the very friendly personnel that also welcomed our dog.
The hotel is not luxurious, but it has a nice garden, with lovey views over the lake, and a restaurant.
We will absolutely consider staying here again.response / report this review -

Not the experience you expect from a Swiss hotel; its clean but everything is dated and tired - the bathrooms are certainly the best kept of all the hotel but they're probably already close to being 10 years.
The price is cheap but for just a few francs more there are better hotels in the area.
Service isn't great either; as we arrived 20 minutes before the kitchen closed and asked if we could order we were sat down but immediately after we could hear the chef and the waiter screaming in the kitchen and from what I could understand cursing us.
I understand from locals that the place is for sale; the owner just doesn't care anymore. Hopefully someone can restore this place as the views are great from there - if indirect from the hotel.
Stay here if you absolutely must as a stopover, but don't spend a week of holidays here. If price is your priority then 20 km further you're in Italy where you will get better value.response / report this review -

Lovely location, small village up in the mountains, comfortable room, reasonable price, nice dinner, friendly staff. Not far off the highway.

die rezeption so wie das restaurant bekommen für zuvorkommende und freundliche art 5☆☆☆☆☆.
die lage bekommt auch 5☆☆☆☆.
leider könnten die zimmer und auch das gebäude eine renovierung vertragen, deshalb nur 2☆☆. der garten mit aussicht bekommt 4☆☆☆☆. zimmer sind sauber aber sehr hellhörig und etwas vetaltet, hier 3☆☆☆.

החדרים די מיושנים אבל אם זה רק מיטה ומקלחת המלון עושה את העבודה. ארוחת בוקר סבירה ולא יותר גם יחסית לסטנדרטים באירופה.

Amazing quaint place with spectacular views of the lake and the town. Very nice and friendly people and staff. Upgraded our room free of charge. Great breakfast and scenery
