A great shop, selling everything you could ever need from clothes to food. I always visit when I am in Geneva.

In Geneva you have your choice of four grocery store lines
(1) Coop (2) Migros (3) Manor (4) Globus.

The quality goes from low (1) to high (4). The affordability goes from high (1) to low (4). Globus is top dog when it comes to boutique groceries at the highest quality and with the greatest customer service experience.

The produce case may not be as extensive as that you might encounter at Manor but where Globus shines are not the staples, but rather the rare finds and the items that you want to buy as gifts or gastronomic status symbols. To that end, an incredible selection of cured meats, caviars, pate's, seafood, and all the accoutrement, including spherified olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

It was one of the only places in Geneva where I could reliably find an English-speaking cheese monger who could educate me on their offerings and even offered to vacuum pack cheeses so that I could bring them back to the US. A gentleman for sure.

I recall a day when I was also browsing the tea selection when they sent out an attendant to help me pick out the exact tea for the occasion I needed it.

I just drank a coffee and had a pastry there. Both of them were very good. Globus in general is a good place for drinking coffee or for having lunch (sandwiches, asian food, tapas) alone or with friends. It is as well not a single restaurant/bar but rather a small complex of multiple stands. It is not a place where you can stay for hours as the chairs and tables are not that comfortable. It's pretty noisy as well.

Prices are a little high but at least the quality is good (coffee + pastry = 10.40 Fr)

It's not a full fledged store, it's just a booth within the department store that sells Laduree products.
