An amazing hotel with a bed and breakfast feel. The owner is attentive and courteous. Take advantage of the amazing daily breakfast buffet for hotel guestsa real taste of Switzerland.
A lovely hotel in a good position and very friendly staff.
We loved this hotel in the centre of the beautiful town of Meiringuen, so modern, cosy and the room had a wonderfull view. It's in front of the Sherlock Holmes Museum. It also has an excellent restaurant, one of the best we've tried in Switzerland. And the best of all, the kindness of the stall.
This hotel goes out of their way to making sure your stay is awesome. Rooms are very clean, very modern hotel. Great breakfast with lots of options. Location is ideal being across from the train and bus stations. Customer service is spectacular. I got half naked in the lobby and no one even cared! Rooms are typical of Switzerland in regards to size and climate control. Would stay again.
Nice, modern , clean. Great staff and one of the best restaurants in the area
Everything about this hotel is 5 star. From the food to the rooms. I could not find a fault at all. Will be back soon.
An absolutely great hotel! The rooms are functional and lack a little bit of character, especially for a Swiss mountain place. But the food is exceptional and the staff ever so friendly. The location is top, as it is very close to the train station yet still not too far to the funicular up the mountain.
Amazing food! And even better service! Best staff i have ever seen. Caring and love what they do. Will always remember this place! Thank you!
Insider Tip: We (family of 5) just spent 5 days skiing in Meiringen (perfect snow) and stayed in the Hotel Victoria.
- Very nice "design" hotel with tasteful interior
- Impeccably clean
- Extremely friendly and professional service
- Rooms nice but on the small side (especially bathroom); nice lobby/games room/entrance; ski room with shoe dryer
- Absolutely fantastic food (consistently rated 14 Gault Millau), style asian fusion with local ingredients; fantastic breakfast; all (even minor) food ingredients are prime quality, mostly local; good and reasonably priced wine cellar (try the 2008 Aalto)
- Location very convenient in the middle of town with the free skibus stopping directly in front of the hotel
-> all in all not cheap but excellent value for money (we'll be there again ;-)
