i had very warm welcome from Front office, i don't know her name, but she explained about bus/train nearby places etc , room was nice and quiet, I found welcome note even at bathroom tissue roll. i feel so lovely atmosphere. every one cared about me, i felt my stay was so precious to them.

Old style hotel. In the center of Interlaken so you can reach any place around easily. The rooms are big and quiet. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The parking lot is available and free for the guests. The breakfast is accepted, no variety. In general, I like this hotel and recommend it.

Very well taken care of old hotel. Staff is SUPER friendly and helpful and it has decent location on a quiet street but it is old and outdated. Nice swimming pool. Good breakfast. Clean rooms.

Cons - Not 4 star Hotel. At best 3 star. Place is old and needs refurbishment. They charge 50CHF deposit for giving you key to the room safe which is strange. No AC in room so insist on a table fan in the room for ensuring air circulation.

Pros - Friendly staff. Rooms have balcony with seat and table which is good. Incase you are leaving in morning before restaurant opening at 7 Am, they will at request provide packed breakfast a day earlier in the evening. Close to Interlaken West Station.

Stayed 2 nights in this lovely hotel. It will not be a 5-star hotel in cities like Lucerne or Zurich or Geneva but it is a definitely a great hotel to me in Interlaken.

Positives:
1. Had to take an early train to Bern to catch TGV Lyria to Paris. When we informed them, the hotel staff packed 2 x breakfast boxes for my wife and myself. And we were pleasantly surprised at what they packed for us (fruit, juice, water, sandwich & chocolate!) The last time when this happened to me, it was when I stayed in Conrad.
2. the Hotel gave all of us visitor transport cards during the entire duration of our stay, allowing us to take the local buses for free.
3. the Hotel is quite near to Interlaken West and Migros. We had 2 nights of cheap eats at Migros. =)
4. It had a heated swimming pool!! though I did not try, but it is simply amazing to be able to maintain a heated swimming pool in the winter.
5. The room has a balcony from which you will have a good view of the mountain.

Negative:
1. the door lock system doesn't seem too good to me. I need to use the room key to open the door and to also lock the door. Often, I do forget to lock my door.
2. the interior decor of the room does seem dated. perhaps, it could renovate their rooms and rise up the ranks and be the top hotel in interlaken. =)

I stayed here for about 2 days with my family.
My experience was pretty good. It has a very accessible location.
The staff is very helpful and they put in a lot of efforts to make your stay memorable.
