Zwar etwas abgelegen dafür super leckere Desserts und faire Preise. Bedienung freundlich und Garten und Haus sehr modern aber rustikal-detailverliebt eingerichtet.

Looking for a in-budget seminar hotel can be quite tricky (CHF500 per person). Fortunately for us we got to this one by chance and we managed to remain under budget. Googling for seminar hotel and beautiful scenery, we landed upon this hotel, which turned out to be a real keeper. We were a group of nine people and arrived on Monday, which is usually their day of rest. But they made an exception for us. Awwhow kind. What a brilliant sign of customer service - in my opinion.
We were welcomed by a nice team who took good care of us throughout our seminar stay, provided us with great freshly made food and beverages (included complimentary to the seminar fee). The only food let down we experienced was with the cheese fondue we had for dinner. My only complaint to this whole 2 day experience is the bread we got served with the cheese fondue. Call me finicky I'm sorry, but to cheese fondue it's not difficult to serve good bread. The bits were too large and the bread was spongey and not fresh.
The breakfast buffet was splendid. All fresh bread served and presented in a brilliant way, a number of great cheeses, an assortment of dried meats, jams in different shaped pots, muesli, yoghurt, milk and some warm prepared mini-croissant. Really a fantastic buffet. You can really stuff your face if you choose to.
Infrastructure-wise there aren't any set backs. The only comment I'd make, as 2 meter man as I am, some ceilings were a little low and had to be remembered when passing. But the fewest of people are 2 meters tall and don't share this concern.
The Standard room was spacious, clean and nicely arranged. It felt cosy and welcoming.
Pottering around outside, you're presented with a spectacular scenery of mountains surrounding you. Kemmeriboden-Bad is a great starting point for a day's hike to many directions. There are tracking routes, snow shoe hiking, mountain bike routes and the post bus route which takes you back to civilisation if you choose to. We weren't there for hiking, but I'm tempted to return when the time allows to spend some time with my wife, exploring the nature and hiking paths around.

I stayed here overnight on my thru-hike of the trans swiss trail and it was one of the highlights of my trip. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is romantic and authentic, prices are very good for what you're offered, the food was delicious and they have great wellness options available. I can recommend a stay here without hesitation (and i'm usually a very picky bastard. I almost never give 5 star reviews)
