This place is a cozy farm in the middle of the super scenic Bernese Alps. We loved the passion that the hosts have about their farm and the ethics around it. Our host Thomas offered a bunch of extra opportunities that made the experience special: joining in his morning yoga routine, a tour of the farm cows & cheese cellar, and recommendations for great local hikes with stunning views. The food on site is hearty and healthy.

Im neu eröffneten Gasthof Bären war ich letzten Samstag bei einem Jahrgängertreffen. Das Essen (Mittagsmenue) war excellent und preiswert, das Ambiente gemütlich und die Bedienung freundlich. Ein gelungener Restaurantbesuch!

Meine Frau und ich waren bereits mehrfach Gast in diesem schönen, sehr gemütlichen Hotel. Freundlichkeit und Gastlichkeit ist dort keine Floskel, sondern man spürt sie allgegenwärtig. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, gemütlich und dazu die schöne ruhige Lage sind Garant für erholsame Tage. Ein besonderes Lob verdient der Küchenchef, der sein Handwerk wahrlich versteht. Wir werden immer wieder gerne in dieses Haus zurückkommen.

This hotel is nice, but for the price the soundproofing could be better. Furthermore, sleeping after 6am is just impossible due to neighbours and delivery truck.

Nevertheless, the location is perfect (if you have a car), and the staff is nice too. The room was really clean.

To conclude, if you're searching a lovely place near Interlaken and if you don't want to sleep late in the morning, you can choose this hotel without hesitation.
