Amazing hotel and restaurant.
Beautiful location at the hill over the center, making the city invisible yet close. Unforgettable views over Eiger and the rest of the valley.
Exceptionally friendly and caring owners, helpful and accommodating.
Good breakfasts with a wide selection of local products, and very good restaurant for dining.
Highlight: a sauna in a stable with goats visible through a one-way mirror.

There are hotels and there are places to stay where you feel like an old friend coming home. The Bodmi is one of the best examples of the latter. My wife and I have been coming here for a number of years to enjoy the unsurpassed scenery of the Berner Oberland. The Bodmi is perfectly situated outside of town, far away from the noise and crowds, but a short walk or bus ride to the centre, train station, cable cars etc. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with views which can only be called spectacular. The owners and staff are kind, generous, and professional. They know their business and they know their area. The fact that most of their guests - like us - are repeat clientele - tells the story. Excellent kitchen, spa, loan of very good walking sticks etc. Visiting the Bodmi is one of the highlights of my year.

The hotel is excellent I would recommend the accommodation of it .. I lived in the hotel in the year 2014/9 was a beautiful day to forget I thank the hotel reception for their hospitality , and also working at the buffet breakfast workers in hotel they clean the rooms on a daily basis I wish to visit this beautiful village and live in this wonderful hotel Thank you to all staff at the hotel
