  Great location, you can get anywhere on foot. Reception staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with high tec bathrooms.

  Nice little hotel in quaint Appenzell. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast (included in rate) was excellent for a 3*. Rooms were nice and clean. Highly recommend you stay at Hotel Hecht when you visit Appenzell.

  Stayed here during our Swiss vacation. Lovely and spacious hotel with a great breakfast. The people who work at this hotel are very friendly and helpful. Parking is nearby and free (which is a rarity in Switzerland). The hotel is centrally located in Appenzell and all the major sights are within walking distance.
  
  The only issue is that the Internet connection is not very reliable. Other than that, our stay was thoroughly enjoyable.
