Yes, it's pretty expensive but very worth it. Massive, comfortable rooms with decent bathrooms and a very good breakfast too! Lovely staff.

Das Hotel ist alt und riecht auch entsprechend. Schon beim eintreten in die Halle steigt einem der Geruch von uralten Möbel und Materialien in die Nase. Nicht weil es gepflegt ist, sondern weil einfach nicht reinvestiert wird. Das Zimmer war dreckig, der Teppich voller Flecken, im Bad war der Toiletenkasten kaputt, ebenso waren die Wasserhähne beim Lavabo am auseinanderfallen. Der Duschkopf sowie der Hahn für die Badewanne haben seit Monaten oder Jahren kein Essig mehr gesehen. So zieht es sich durchs ganze Hotel. Dies hier soll eine Kritik sein und nicht einfach ein negativ Post. Leider sind die einzigen guten Sachen die ich vermerken kann das Panorama und der gratis Parkplatz. Fazit: Nie wieder und ich empfehle es auch niemandem. Es hat direkt am Eck ein anderes Hotel zum gleichen Preis, was jeden Franken wert ist.

Quaint, windows open to the sidewalk cafes below. French conversations echo against the narrow alley walls. Bed and linens provide a welcome respite and seals the charmed filled experience. Travelling on business from the US. I know I am experiencing something special and I look forward to returning when my workday is done tomorrow.

I'm writing this review for my mother, who has booked a room in the Beau Rivage a couple of days ago.

I have been told that the atmosphere was really dark and shabby. The room was old and it was dusty in the drawers. The bed was OK but the bathroom was a joke - the shower was dripping water every 30seconds.
The location is nice, next to the lake, but for CHF 310 a night it was WAY too expensive. If you're willing to pay CHF 200 for the lake view, then the price might be OK. But as said, the room and the hotel itself is a joke. Take another hotel!
