The staff at the hotel was very polite and helpful. The location is really great, at the heart of Lausanne. The room was dated. It looks like the time stopped in '70. We were not that lucky and got a quite dark room with a view at the back of the building. Maintenance could be improved, especially in the toilet. Breakfast is simple but you can have it on a tarace with a spectacular view that compensate anything.

Arrived 00:30 after a late (23:05) booking. Point of contact is a security guard interested in checking records rather than letting me in. After 30 min outside on a 4°C winter night, in a less recommendable part of town, I'm let in and staff gets friendlier. Next day director blames the booking website.
This hotel does not have their late check in story together. Waiting outside for then to figure it out is not a fun experience.

It's a bit scruffy and run down, and the windows are not well sound proofed if you're a light sleeper. The staff are friendly and it's cheap. It's ok but nothing flash.

Great breakfast. Everything youd expect and more from a hotel breakfast. Enjoy it overlooking the rooftops to make a great start to your day. A few of the rooms have a quirky layout but the bed was comfy (then again after 12+ miles of walking a day, most beds would be) and the bathroom clean and functional. My next stop here will definitely include another stay.

Great Breakfast includes yummy bread, many spreads, GOOD coffee or tea, cereal, yogurt, cheese, eggs, and sausage. Very simple but clean and excellent service.
All I could ask for.
It's located in a side street in the center of town. Little traffic but lots of people at night. So, if you need an open window it will be a bit noisy at times.
