The hotel is situated at a really convenient spot, with easy access to the train station and restaurants. The views from the rooms are nice as well. The rooms maybe slighty dated but well facilitated. Overall a pleasant stay

Location is right across from the train stop for Grindelwald first. Location was perfect. Rooms were clean with good views of the mountains. Service was very good. They were helpful in giving suggestions on attractions to do around were very polite

Wonderful staff and unfortunately that's one of the few positives. Our room is very tired looking and stinks of wet dog. The bathroom is small and equally unpleasant on the nose. The bed is typically Germanic, in being two single beds pushed together. There's a safe in the room and kettle.

I've given 3* because while I very much dislike the room, it's very conveniently located and not expensive (for Switzerland). Some people will enjoy their stay, especially train buffs as half of the hotel looks directly out to the station. With that does come all the noise, but the rooms are reasonably soundproofed.

We arrived on a very wet day with limited views. On a clear day, the views could be stunning. Having visited Grindelwald before, I know it to be a beautiful place with magnificent views all around.

Excellent service. Very informative and friendly staff. Towel warmers in bathroom work well. But, there is no air conditioning for the warm nights.

Location is nice, close to the station. Bar is small but has good service. Breakfast is okay, nothing special. Room was pretty nice, we had a standard twin room. The bathroom leaves a little to be desired with the shower being tiny. The staff were all very friendly.

The internet was terrible - we couldn't even load a google search and one night it completely went off due to technical trouble. We had an Eiger view superior room. The views were SPECTACULAR. We sat out on the balcony and enjoyed the views with some wine and cheese and it was superb. The room was a dated and could use a revamp. The bathroom was newly renovated and very clean. Parking was convenient and easy, and the location was good. If not for the Eiger views I would have rated this a 3/5.

Overall great value. The location could not be better as it is right next to the train station. The room itself isn't the most up to date but the bathrooms seem to be.

Excellent Hotel. Room with a view of the North face of the Eiger. Staff very helpfull and friendly. Great location for local transport. A lovely stay.
