Rooms are comfortable, breakfast and food is good, but the place when full can be a bit annoying due to jumbled orders, confused and stressed staff, as well as a slightly cramped environment. Wifi and breakfast is included. The place is within walking distance of the train station, mart, shopping area, the river, castle and the Grand Casino.

I stayed in a large contemporary room which was very comfortable near the city center. It was a short walk to historic, shopping, or dining areas. I would definitely stay again.

After three weeks in a basic room in Birr, this was a pleasant shock to the system. Flat panel TV, spacious, clean, fresh. I agree about the shower - fantastic. One thing missing, and I understand this is common in CHaircon. That would have got the fifth star for me! Friendly staff, good variation for breakfast. Restaurant reasonable, but a little limited, though some good, unusual dishes there. Well worth a visit.
