Best view in town (that is publicly accessible) the prices are taking this into account but are not excessive. Particularly nice after dark.

Nice place, good view, but menu isn't that special, missing an innovative vibe here. May be more oriented into the elder audience. Music could be better too.

Great location in otherwise (when it comes to exciting, non-fondue places) pretty boring Basel. Good drinks and great view over town. Prices really okay for Swiss standards!

Great bar for a drink situated at one of the top floors of the 2 highest building in Basel (at certain time it was the highest in Switzerland). You have stunning views from there and in Friday night you have Salsa/Bachata music at the down part of the top disco. So far entry cost 10 CHF.

On a week day, sometimes the service I found it a bit slow and not really attentive. Once we had to ask several times for the drinks and it took a while, however there was not so much people.

The bar and the views are definitely nice enough to be worth a visit. The drinks are pricey (but not extreme for being Switzerland), the music is ok but likely varies on different nights/events, and if you enter early you don't have to pay. Personally I don't think it's worth 20 chf (plus the coat and then about 20 for a drink); but if you want to enjoy little of the views with some daylight and go earlier, then it's a nice deal. The crowd was a little oldish. Not my go to place (which is missing in Basel) but ok when friends are in town.
