Good : price, safe, hospitality workers, internet, hot shower, restaurant, view, very helpful staff
Bad : room condition. Slow service. No card- general situation in Congo. Limited English.

Evaluating this hotel is hard. It is located directly on lake Kivu and the views from the rooms and terrace are awesome. The hotel is also very safe for foreigners. It has a good restaurant where you can eat lunch and dinner. For guests they offer breakfast as well.

Unfortunately the rooms itself are not very pleasant. They are clean but the entire interior needs renovation.

Still I strongly recommend this place especially if you do not want to spent hundreds of dollars per night.

Garden and view over Lake Kivu was very nice. But the inside suffers from criminally neglect from the (lack of) management. Hot wires sticking out of the wall, curtains that cannot be closed, running toilets, bathtubs that should have been replace 25 years ago, the list goes on and on. The food was a very uneven experience. One pizza may be OK but the next tastes like cardboard. Coffee for breakfast was muddy water - undrinkable.
