Love this place and would anywhere I found it in the world. Great property, fantastic food, beautiful to see and be here. Nothing else comes close in Goma.
I have stayed here at least 10 times alone and with teams. Everyone loves it here.
Unfortunately on this trip they did not honor my confirmed reservation. They over booked and I travel enough to expect that from time to time. What I was not prepared for after all this time was to be kicked to the curb to find my own solution. Need to step up costumer service on that one.

We enjoyed our stay on the lake. It was nice being able to sit by the lake at night and during the day. There was also a swimming pool nearby (not sure how clean it was but we went in and it was fine). The room was clean the only thing that was strange was the shower had no shower curtain but we made it work by sitting in the tub. Good location for getting to mt nyriagongo and to see the mountain gorillas. Our room had a gorgeous view. We felt safe here.

BEWARE WHAT ROOM YOU ARE ASSIGNED!! Two buildings are on a separate property, two lots down from the main facility & restaurant. To reach them you have to cross a vacant, gravel-filled lot, and there's no phone in room to be able to contact management without walking over. Some rooms on the adjunct property are nice; but mine was on the street side with lots of street noise, and my "view" was a peeling concrete wall 5 feet out, making it the room rather dark as well. Restaurant and pool are nice however. (If in a better room, my rating would be much better.)

Great food. Pricey for Goma, but worth it. Beautiful location. Check out the Sunday brunch for $20 USD for best value.
