L'un des plus beau restaurant tout pays confondue! vue sur le Lac, jolie terrasse, en plus de table et chaise longue pres de l'eau. grand espace pour se ressourcer, petite pergola pour manger! Les Buffets du mercredi sont bien animées! Mais arriver avant 8h!

As experience I am coordinator of the NGO Sowers of New Hope for about 3 years and I visited some provinces of the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda neighboring country.

I went to Le Chalet at the earliest hours of a Sunday morning, to have breakfast by the side of Lake Kivu. The restaurant nestles in the lap of a lush green and serene garden. As I walked in, I heard the chirping of birds, the whisper of the gentle breezes and the sound of the lake. Few minutes later, the restaurant's personnel walked to me and provided me with the menu card. I paid a complete breakfast for less than $10 and this included some toasts, coffee, fruit salads and a well-cooked omelette. The breakfast was not too heavy and most essentially, it was value for money. There is good wireless connection near the restaurant but in case you prefer to sit close to the lake, the wireless may not be accessible. The place is serene and undisturbed. It's a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Goma; an opportunity to spend time with oneself. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to whoever is in Goma.
