  September is a big month for change, the kids are back in school, summer is coming to an end and it is also the month that chiropractic becomes 123 years old. On September 18th, 1895 Daniel David Palmer delivered the first chiropractic adjustment. The patient was Harvey Lillard, a janitor who had been deaf for several years following a traumatic accident. Palmer had been studying and analyzing the spine and the nervous system for some time. He analyzed Harvey’s spine and found a vertebrae that wasn’t moving properly (Subluxation). After D. D. Palmer adjusted the vertebrae, Harvey Lillard’s hearing was restored and the gift of chiropractic was unveiled.   Dr Sheila is so knowledgeable in all things health and wellness. My husband, and our 3 children see Dr Sheila and she was so helpful while I was pregnant and in labor. Her knowledge and expertise are worth every penny. We don’t live in the North end and we drive from the south east side of the city to see her. The office itself is modern and chic, makes you feel right at home.
  
  I highly recommend YXE Family wellness to everyone.

  My family has been seeing Dr Sheila for 6 years, since my oldest was 9 months old. My only regret is that our care with Sheila did not start earlier. Dr Sheila is so caring and pours her love and support into the best level of care for her clients. My first pregnancy had no chiropractic care, while i seen Dr Sheila from pre conception through postpartum and beyond with my second and my pregnancies and labour experience were like night and day, that second one being a much more positive experience with Sheila’s chiropractic support. Dr Sheila also helped with my babies breach positioning, as my son changed positions mid adjustment on her table. Something i will never forget.
  
  When my son was a newborn he had a tendency to favour nursing on one side and to turn his head that same way while sleeping. We seen dr Sheila at 3 days old and she was able to correct this.
  
  Our family of 4 continues to see Dr Sheila for regular maintenance as well as when we have something extra going on- a virus or someone’s taken a fall, etc. My children adore and trust Dr Sheila to no end as she is so gentle and patient with children.
  
  Sheila is (obviously) hands on and full of information.
  
  I cannot say enough about what an amazing practitioner Dr Sheila is and the positive impact her adjustments have had on our day to day life, she goes above and beyond.

  What a dream! 2 of my favorite chiropractors! Dr Sheila was a life saver for me, I could hardly sit after my daughter was born. Sheila took her time explaining everything and after just a few visits it was like night and day. She also worked with my daughter as a newborn, she was gentle, caring and very knowledgeable. I have seen both Dr Kim and Dr Sheila and they are both talented and passionate about their work and it certainly shows.

  I started seeing Dr. Shelia at the start of my nursing career five years ago. She is amazing at what she does and I always left feeling great after being adjusted. Her adjustments were a necessity during my last pregnancy! Once baby was here too she worked her magic to make my colicky baby a lot more happy, which brought back some sanity in my life!

  I have known Dr.Sheila for over 25 yrs! I started going for adjustments while pregnant with my 2nd child. I always walked/waddled out there feeling so much better. I was getting adjustments right up to my due date and about a week after, me and my baby went in, I continued to take him for adjustments during his milestones, it made such a difference! Thank you for all the work you do with Mamas and babies!
