Tried it several times. Went with a friend for dinner this time and tried ordering different things. We tried the salmon poke which was very good. Good size. Fresh. Salt and pepper squid which I think so far is the best thing I've had there. Vegetarian pot stickers which were good. Polenta sticks which were a bit dry for my taste. And for dessert we tried the caramel toffee pudding which was great. All in all it's very good. Also great when you can sit outside and enjoy the view. You can then go for a walk on the boardwalk there.

We really liked the place. Riverview from the patio, food is great, serviced is quick (for Saturday afternoon, anyway). You can get liquor there, however they have some very nice teas and moktails, so booze is really just an option. I found that chicken fried rice and mint herbal tea are just a perfect pair ))) Anyway, we will be coming back.

I keep coming back to this place for their excellent food, since they offer vegan options. The location is lovely as well, excellent view of the river and tugboats. The restaurant has a nice ambiance inside, with a nice outside patio for good weather.
Their staff can sometimes get busy though and take a while to get to you, but for the most part, their staff is friendly and courteous. One day, in short notice they managed to sit my family of 11 people, so that is a plus. I wouldn't come here expecting a quick meal if you are in a hurry.
If their service was just a bit smoother, I would give it 5 stars - but it's worth the wait, especially on a calm day, enjoying the waterfront with your plus one.response / report this review -

This place may be hit or miss based on previous reviews, well it was certainly a hit for us!
The Peking duck tacos were phenomenal, great texture and taste. The spicy Kung Po was also top notch. Two of us split a meal and a beer for $38, not much to complain about there!response / report this review -

What has happened to the service here?! They may have been short staffed but my last visit there was a bit of a mess - from really long waits for seating, menus, plates and napkins, having our order taken, getting food, and then paying, to having our meal taken to the wrong table. We were sharing menus and plates with neighboring tables because they simply weren't bringing them out.
Food was okay, but overpriced. I was underwhelmed by their drink options. The patio view, however, is lovely in the summer.response / report this review -

I'm going to do this place a disservice and compare it to Cactus Club. You'll be paying Cactus Club prices but the food is actually good. The ambiance is good, the place is well lit and when you're looking to turn the meal into a date there's the park by the river or the movie theatre across the street. Easily reached from New Westminster Skytrain, or you can use the fairly cheap pay parking in the area.

Great view, especially when you can eat outside on a nice sunny day. Service is acceptable, but had to wait quite a while for our last dish to arrive. Has to ask a few times for refills. Food was good, no standout in the options we picked though. The salmon tartar small for what you pay for.

I really enjoy that there are vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. They also have ethically sourced meats. This is a place I will come back time and time again because of the quality and the flavors. Beautiful location near the water. Excellent service and menu.

It looked like it was going to be a good place to eat. But. Very disappointed. Here for my sisters birthday, and I know there's 18 of us, and yes, that is a larger number, but after arriving at 7:30 and ordering at 7:50, it's currently 9:15, and our appetizers still have not arrived. Looking around in the restaurant, there's about 12 other people here. Looking towards the kitchen, I see one cook cleaning the pots and wiping down the counters. This is not acceptable for a restaurant. Very displeased. Will not be recommending others to here after this experience. McDonalds has better service, and they have little to none customer service.
Just updating before I post, it's 9:45, the food finally came. It's very enjoyable. I'll give them that, but so glad it took almost 2 hours to prepare some rice and pasta.
Last update: I was wondering how they were able to pump out so much food so quickly, when the food did start to come. We found out. Some of the rice dishes were under done. Crunchy rice. Not acceptable.response / report this review -

The quality of the food here is rather inconsistent. The Peking duck tacos definitely aren't anything close to Peking duck, but they do taste incredible. The gluten free options are pretty universally bland, although the vegan curry with chicken and the kale salad stand out from that pack. Also, be aware that fried foods are all made in the same frier, so most of the stuff on the menu that is marked gluten-free actually isn't.
The saving grace for them I guess is the appy and main for $25 deal. It narrows down their menu to what I assume are their most popular items, so you'll get a good deal on good food. The seafood penne though clearly isn't anything resembling Chinese or fusion, and somehow just tastes like coconut milk. It's like they forgot to season it or something.response / report this review -

Food was tasty and different. A great mix of food for all diets (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, or "normal" food). Service was good, but they add 17% gratuity to group tables which really bugs me (as it is illegal). They also over charged my dessert.

My friends had a wonderful time there, however I didn't. I almost died from eating at this restaurant. I told my server that I was allergic to chili and asked if I can get my food without the chili in there. She asked the chef and they said that they can cook it without the chili in there. The speed of service was really fast. I got my food within 10min. I took a bite of the food, my mouth started feeling numbed and started to cough. I informed my server that my food had chilli in there and I am having allergy reaction to it. The server went back to the kitchen and told them and she came back and told me there is a miscommunication in the kitchen. The server offer me reactine and new food. I got my meal fixed, however my throats was swollen from the allergic reaction. So i got my food packed up. And my meal was free. Overall the service was great. I just feel like kitchen should be extra careful with the special request. People can die from eating.

I really love the ambience and space of the restaurant. It has an amazing view overlooking the river on the Quayside river walk.
So, the cocktails. Nothing mind blowing but still well made. A few classics, a few originals. Decent enough wine/beer selection.
The service is attentive, and polite.
The food is serviceable. Not amazing. But good. I feel like the wonton soup broth was particularly bland. It had almost no flavour whatsoever. I don't have a problem paying more than my local Chinese food place, but the food should be better tasting at least.
The curry dumplings were a nice idea in theory, but quite devoid of filling and you guessed it, very bland.
We had the shanghai beef noodles. The noodles and vegetables were tender and perfectly cooked, the beef mildly dry and sadly, everything was just a bit too sweet with not enough spice.
It's too bad that it isn't better, because I would love to have a regular little haunt around there but this really didn't knock our socks off.response / report this review
