I went to a number of places that told me I needed winter tires and quoted $800 - $1200 to purchase them. When I called WestCoast Tire the woman who answered the phone was nice and helpful. She not only answered my questions but was truly patient while I searched through my owners manual trying to find answers. She suggested I bring my car in so they can look at the tires.
This was at 4:35 pm and they close at 6:00 pm. I jumped in the car and got there just after 5:00 pm. The woman at the counter turned out to be the amazing woman I spoke with on the phone. She looked at the tires, determined my tire depth was more than 3.5 - 4.0 and that I did have the MS on my tire therefore I did not need winter tires. On the phone she had quoted under $500 for winter tires. Now after looking at my tires this wonderful person was saying I didn't need to get winter tires - that's honesty! She took the time to photo copy the ICBC information on winter tires and went over it so I would understand it.
I mentioned my back tire on the passenger side was leaking air and she asked the men in the back if they could check the tire. Turned out I had some metal stuck in the tire and for under $16.00 they patched it.
I can't tell you how relieved and grateful I am for the help I received at WestCoast Tire. I will gladly spread the word that this is the place to go for accurate, honest information. Thank you WestCoast Tire!response / report this review -

Worst tire repair place on the island.
They made me waist a whole day without even saying sorry.
They are bias as and only serve people who buy there tires.
I was a paying customer.
And there cold and arragent lady teller
She needs some people skills.
Dodge Willie is a way better choice

Great service and prices, they changed the tires on my trailer while I waited and were able to keep it attached so I didn't have to mess around unhooking it

Well worth the trip. Super fast, friendly, and helpful. Helped me to find the most financially logical option. Weren't condescending despite my lack of tire knowledge. Customer for life!

The staff is so knowledgeable! and they don't try to update you! They want to know what kind of driver you are and how many kilometers you do a year and they will match the right kind of tires for your car and YOU!

I have bought tires from this business for many years. Not only are their prices outstanding but their customer service is knowledgeable and excellent. Before you commit to buying a new tire or set of tires I would strongly recommend obtaining a quote from West Coast Tire first of all.

As soon as I arrived 4 staff descended upon my car and started to work. Everyone from the front desk to the installers were a pleasure to deal with. Well worth the drive from Victoria. So impressed.
