Happy 7 year anniversary to Derrick and Kim! ❤️💍 . Little did we know at the time, they would be the couple that changed it all for me! They hired and trusted me to photograph my first ever wedding, fresh out of photography school. I still remember what it felt like to talk to them on the phone (legit I remember I was at my friend Frank’s house at the time!), and I remember what it felt like walking into my first ever client consultation. I was excited but a LITTLE terrified! I barely had any idea what I was doing when it came to weddings, and what it was like to have ACTUAL PAYING CLIENTS AND A BUSINESS! WOAH!!! . Today I looked back at their photos and thought I would do a quick edit to compare my edits THEN vs NOW. . (And for the record, yes, I have every wedding I’ve ever photographed still on my hard drive, easily accessible should anything happen to my clients photos). 🤞🏻 . I share this because there have been many times throughout my photography career that I wanted to just straight up QUIT. I have questioned my ability and talent a million times, I’ve missed out on events with family and friends, and yet I still wonder how I got so lucky to have such an AWESOME job and to produce work that will LITERALLY OUTLIVE ME!!! 🤯 (This thought occurred to me tonight and my mind is a little blown). I am in a field that I am passionate about and I feel like I can make a difference and I wouldn’t trade my experience for anything else! I’ve worked with so many amazing people throughout the years and each one has made me the photographer I am today. . All in all, I can honestly look back and think to myself “Damn girl. You did good!” . Thank you Derrick and Kim for trusting me to capture your wedding day. And oh Derrick, I gave you a fake shoe! 😂👞😂 . These two adventurers got married this weekend! Sara and Pat's wedding at Camp Fortune was seriously SO FUN, and I would go back in a heartbeat! (FOR REAL THOUGH!) As promised, they get to see their sneak peek as they're waiting to board their flight to their honeymoon in ITALY, Y'ALL!!! <3

After 10 years of being together, Gab & Max are officially (and finally) MARRIED! Everything at Bean Town Ranch was perfect and all throughout the day, you could FEEL the love these two share for each other.

For any future brides debating a 'first look' on their wedding day:
"It was just about the two of us and having some time together to just take it all in and ensure that we had a beautiful collection of photos of the two of us on our wedding day. The First Look was one of my favourites memories from our wedding day and something that I recommend to all my engaged friends."
